I am truly happy with my new Nokia. . . I love the fact that I am able to record, take a picture and for sure the most interesting thing is being able to write SMS. . . I would recommend everyone to get the same one. . . My boyfriend wants it already for Christmas. . .

Thank you Amazon

I am just fed up with Symbian as an operating system. Almost all of my phones have been Nokia, but I have never had any luck with their S60 phones. They have either had lousy volume issues or so many software bugs that the phone was unusable. This, I thought, was a good phone. I don’t really want a gps or 3G(there is no 3G where I live). Everything was fine until the phone started freezing up. I was on a call and it froze, had to take out the battery. Charging it and it froze, had to take out the battery.

**UPDATE**
No change. For me, there are too many bugs still in the touch version of Symbian. I been on some European blogs with others who are having some similar issues. Another issues being brought up is ear piece volume issues like the 5800 had. I did not have that experience with the 5530. The volume was great, I just had to keep removing the battery to reboot and use the phone. Sent the phone back.

After use it for one month, the shortcut key disappeared, plus the dial key won’t work anymore, now I can either only make call from the main menu contact book to those already saved in the phone book or can only receive call from others. Thats very annoying and I went to the nokia website discussion board, and I was shocked that there are actually many people have this problem and nokia didn’t provide a possible solution to fix that. Instead, there are some folks suggest to hack the cell phone with a software call “hellox2. 0″ and go through a very long and complex process in order to fix the problem. Don’t waste money on this junk, I should have spent little more to get an iphone.

For this price you should not expect more than this phone. I have an Apple 3G iphone and this one and the difference between the two is like sky and earth.
This phone gets you to you tube, nokia apps just like Apple apps and so forth but it is a little bit complicated for someone who is not too much of a computer savvy.
Not as use friendly as iphone.
Well for this price it is a good touch screen phone.

Pros: Cheap price as compare to Apple/samsung/htc etc, MUCH MUCH BETTER battery life as compare to iphone 3g/2g, sleek design/pretty, Nokia Maps
UNLOCKED means you dont have to be worried about upgrades and what not, APPLE Is horrible in this because you are stuck with AT&T in case of apple but this phone will let you use ANY GSM supporting network because the phone is NOKIA UNLOCKED, this feature makes this phone very user friendly.

Cons: Slow Touch Screen BUT definitely better than Google g1, My Touch and Samsung Behold (from my experience of using all of these other phones), Cheap body/ Plastic very easily breakable no match with HTC or Apple, poor memory card slot, Sim card slot is useless to be outside because you have to open the back cover any ways to insert it, meaning no benefit of having it outside. . LOOKS Like they tried to copy Apple. . :)

Over all this phone is a better choice than the Google G1,My Touch and Samsung Touch Screen Phones BUT still cant compete with iPhone 3G/3Gs in many regards
