@iIIcommunication eh well im not german and i still think the german one was way better! i completely agree, arno’s acting was phenominal! and those legs, wow xD
Such a fuckin awesome movie. Loved it!!!!!!! When I first saw the title of the movie, I though it would be a comedy but when the ESRB rating came up, I found that it was horror. Yet still, AMAZING ACTING!!!!!!!!!!!
@circlejerkchamp Maybe because I’m german I like the original more than the US-Version. Arno Frisch’s acting was brilliant. Especially his vienna accent was just perfect. Sadly Ulrich Mühe (George) and just a few days ago Frank Giering (Brady Corbets alter ego “Peter”) passed away. Rest in peace!
@BraelynH I think the part with the remote was the most brilliant part of the movie. Michael Haneke tries to prevent an ending you’d expect to see. He first gives the satisfaction of the woman killing Peter, but then takes it back to make it even worse. I think it’s a daring choice of the director to give a character such powers, but I think it works great.
The message wasn’t inhumane- it’s the TRUTH. They even talked about it at the end, breaking the fourth wall once again. This isn’t just a movie. Murders like this happen IN REAL LIFE which is what this movie was based upon: AN ACTUAL MURDER. Life doesn’t always have a happy ending, and that was the case with Funny Games. Sometimes the good guys lose. It’s just life. People just see it like another film though and don’t look into the meaning. That’s why they think it sucks.
@DanYMA6 The Strangers was a no-reason movie. And the ending was retarded. Classic hollywood movie. At least with this, you never expect what happens. The Strangers was a fun movie, but that’s it. No real purpose behind it. And again, the ending was just plain stupid.
i was looking for a thrillier and this movie is a good one, but the remote part was just pointless?
and lets not forget the worst line ever said in a thriller
Naomi Watts finds her cell working again so she asks her husband the silliest question ever: who are we going to call? i mean that just drove me crazy! who should they call ? John Mclain? the police dammit just what was that line about?
Kind people – more open people than malicious people. Than person – that it is more open more strongly. It is possible to be physically beautiful (on face), strong, stylishly courageously dressed (for guys and young men) and kind to be thus “cool”.Malicious people – enter unity with each other more quickly. As I have told, criminal acts from outside irresponsible people will occur further in our life, propagation of kind behaviour is useless,
world likely morally perishes
I do not understand malicious people, it is difficult to me to describe, tell why these two guys made all it because I not malicious human. People operate against other people. When consider these other people wrong. But, the family in the given film was not in what is guilty, thus there were wrong these two guys. Kind people – more open people than malicious people.
Yes, on victims a film there is no fault that they that that have not made. main actions which were made by guys that their victims would be not won, this drawing of blow by a stick on a foot and certain foresight, sensitive tracking actions of the victims, as for example without having allowed to seize the woman a gun. One of guys has intercepted at it a gun when it has rushed to it
